I'm Camille
Hey there! I'm a new momma and recent BYU B.S. Psych grad with a Family Studies emphasis. I am passionate about marriage, sexuality, religion, family dynamics, and more. After experiencing life postpartum, I realized I had found a place where there was a need for more community & education. Although I'm not educating quite yet, I am sharing my experiences and interviewing other mommas to help. I aspire to get a Masters in Family Human Dev. with a focus in Postpartum studies. My podcast will then be used to also educate my listeners.

Late Night Chat, Casually Eradicating Stigma
Friday Mar 14, 2025

In this heartfelt and spontaneous episode of The Momma's Lounge, I delve into the stigma surrounding the struggles of motherhood and the misconception that it equates to not loving one's baby. I highlight the importance of breaking the silence and sharing postpartum experiences to help erase this harmful notion. Through personal anecdotes and insights from Dr. Molly Millwood's book 'To Have and To Hold', the episode underscores that mental health challenges do not reflect a mother's love for her child. I aim to create a supportive village for mothers, advocating for openness and mutual support to combat feelings of isolation and shame.
